Net2phone rebrand
Net2phone is a software/services company whose principal line of business is SIP-based and PacketCable-based Voice over IP. Established in 1996, they rapidly became one of the pioneers of this technology within the telecommunications industry.
But in 2015, the visual brand identity was looking a little dated. The internet had become commonplace and was no longer considered wonderful and revolutionary as depicted in their previous logo. Neither were telephones a big chunk of red plastic that you wedged between your shoulder and ear. Typography and identity systems had moved on as well. So a new look was required to reassert and differentiate Net2phone’s position within the marketplace.
We created a new logo, retaining some of the style from the old one. Introduced a new branding element that would bind everything together in marketing material. And produced a simple set of guidelines to help with consistency.
